Movie Park, Germany

Movie Park Germany are putting the finishes touches to a major expansion to the park that sees 2 new areas of the park and 7 new attractions. The children's area Nickland recently opened with a new Vekoma family suspended coaster themed to Jimmy Neutron and a Preston Barberei Spalsh Battle themed to Sponger Bob Square Pants. Other existing children's rides have been rethemed with with Nickelodeon character branding.

Meanwhile construction of the Santa Monica Pier area continues ahead of a May opening. Built on the site of the former Lethal Weapon roller coaster the new area will be home to Zamperla Disk 'O' Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Zamperla Fire fighter ride and a Wave Swinger.
